Anders Almgren · Attorney at Law
Leadership teams know this is coming, and few have worked out what it means for how the organization is structured, who they need, and whether the people running things today are the right ones to lead through what comes next. That is the conversation worth having, and it is the work I do.
I work with senior leadership and boards on the question that sits beneath the technology decisions. Governance is where that work starts, because governance surfaces what the organization actually does, where its decisions live, and where the exposure is when the work changes. Energy and manufacturing are where most of my experience lies, having served as in-house counsel to a global manufacturer and as an owner-operator in oil and gas, but the question is the same across industries.
My background is legal, which means I think in terms of accountability, decision ownership, and what happens when things go wrong, and that is exactly the right lens for AI. The governance frameworks are still being written, the liability standards are still being set, and the gap between what leadership approved and what is actually running is wider than most boards realize. If you are trying to figure out what your company looks like on the other side of this, that is where I come in.
Counsel to leadership and boards on what AI means for how the organization is structured, where decisions live, and where accountability sits when the work changes. Governance is the entry point, and the strategic question is the work.

I have spent more than seventeen years advising businesses on contracts, compliance, and governance, including eight years as in-house counsel to a global manufacturer and eight years co-founding and running an energy venture. I have sat in the operator's chair and the general counsel's chair, and the work I do for clients is informed by having been responsible for the decisions, not just advising on them. I also read and review complex matters in English, Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish.
